Base Building for Power and Blue Future are launching a 3-week organizing training program in January 2026, building local leadership and capacity in key congressional districts in advance of the 2026 midterm elections.

We will train 100 organizers and recruit 2,000 volunteers who commit to organize around the affordability crisis, which will include stopping tariffs and raising the minimum wage to a living wage!

Our 3-week training program includes 30 hours of intensive hands-on structured organizing training and practice. This program is 90% of their time learning by doing, not in a classroom or webinar. Cameras on, mute off, and participation are required for this training.

Since 2021 this program has trained more than 600 organizers, 75% of whom have gone on to get their first organizing jobs in labor, community, and volunteer mobilization organizations.
